Site localization for foreign users

Hello everyone! I decided to expand the audience of the site and add support for several languages. But I’m not sure if we should just translate the texts verbatim or adapt them to the cultural characteristics of the users. Has anyone tried the localization and can tell if it is worth additional costs? It is important to me that the content is understandable and interesting for people from different countries, not just technically correct.

I made the site localization through https://www.pangea.global/translation-services/ and was satisfied. They don’t just translate texts, but make the site sound natural to each region. It was important for me because I blog and sell courses, and the clients really felt that the content was «for them». They use the transcreation approach, as well as checking and adjusting to ensure that style and meaning are as accurate as possible. Recommend to those who want the site to be truly international, and not just translated verbatim.
