The future outlook suggests that while hybridization and electrification may gradually reduce reliance on EGR systems, they will continue to play a significant role in internal combustion-powered vehicles for at least the next decade. The aftermarket demand for EGR replacements and retrofitting will also remain strong, especially in regions with older vehicle fleets.
