Customizing Mini Katanas: Is It Worth It?
So I’ve been collecting mini katanas for a few months now, and I’m starting to wonder if it’s possible to customize them. I’ve seen some people repaint handles or change the wrappings to match certain anime themes, and honestly, it looks awesome. But I’m not sure if that ruins the original look or lowers the value. Has anyone here tried customizing their mini katanas? Is it something you’d recommend or just leave as is?

Some are made to be display pieces, so swapping parts or painting can actually make them more personal and fun. I got a few from Mini Katana and tweaked the handle wraps and stand colors — makes them pop way more on the shelf. Just go slow and plan your design first so you don’t regret it later.
